OPEN POSITION: Controller - Accounting
Under the direction of the President, the Controller directs the financial activities of the organization, prepares financial analyses of operations for the guidance of management decisions, and maintains and coordinates health insurance and other employee benefits. Directly supervise employees in the accounting department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Accounting and knowledge of GAAP.
- 5-7 years of experience with Construction accounting.
- Strong analytical skill and attention to details.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; we will train for ProContractor software.
